#6 - Asking for FEEDBACK

CODE YOUR OWN ADVENTURE: #6 - Asking for FEEDBACK

It goes through the entire sequence and spits out all console.logs.
But, even though it does it all...
I get the error " Oops, try again. Did you declare a variable called feedback? "

Thanks for any help in this matter. I am enjoying this Javascript training. I have tried to learn to program before... but, I could never get past the problems I would face. So this works very well for me. As long as I stick it out and keep fighting to find the answer.

// Check if the user is ready to play!
confirm("It's Game time, are you ready to play?");

// section two
var age = prompt("What is your age?");

// section three
if (age < 14) {
    console.log("You are under age. We take no responsibility for anything during your time in the game.");
} else {
   console.log("That is awesome! Time to go where no adventurer has gone before!");
}
// section four
console.log("You are at a Justin Bieber concert, and you hear this lyric 'Lace my shoes off, start racing.'");
// section five
console.log("Suddenly, Bieber stops and says, 'Who wants to race me?'");
var userAnswer = prompt("Do you want to race Bieber on stage?");
// section six
if (userAnswer === "yes") {
    console.log("You and Bieber start racing. It's neck and neck! You win by a shoelace!");
} else {
    console.log("Oh no! Bieber shakes his head and sings 'I set a pace, so I can race without pacing.'");
}
// section seven
var feedBack = prompt("Please rate our game with a number between 1 and 10. Thank you for playing with us!");
if (feedBack > 8) {
    console.log("Thank you! We should race at the next concert!");
} else {
    console.log("I'll keep practicing coding and racing.");
};

Hi this lines

var feedBack = prompt("Please rate our game with a number between 1 and 10. Thank you for playing with us!");
if (feedBack > 8)

you wrote feedBack instead of feedback

#3

Look, you also need to finish the if statement.

Thank you WizMarco... changing the B to a b was all it took. YAHOOO!
Now it is complete!

isn't the standard practice to make the second word Capitol?
I understand that we need to make var exactly as asked for when prompted to...
And I understand that programming all of this is a major task and appreciate all of it very much.
I only ask so I understand how to move forward.
thank you!

HI,
isn't the standard practice to make the second word Capitol?
yes (it depend), it's named CamelCase .. but in this case they aske you to just use feedback

ah... I googled the word... feedback...
I was mistakenly under the assumption that it was 2 words.
but, it is actually one word... so the assignment is correct.
Good to know.
Thank you for all your help.

I am becoming one of those people that likes to have everything checked off... hahahaa!
Who'd of thought it...
