6/8 Unexpected token for

This is my code. I tested it before I tried doing the list. Once I finished it, It did this: SyntaxError: Unexpected token for
I don’t know what I can do right now. Can you help me?
var friends = {
steve: {
firstName: “Steve”,
lastName: “Burns”,
number: “(999) 566-6236”,
address: [‘Nick Jr. Way’,‘Nickelodeon’,‘NY’, ‘19906’]

bill: {
    firstName: "Bill",
    lastName: "Trinen",
    number: "(436) 685-6690",
    address: ['Nintendo of America','Redmond','WA']

var list = function(friends)
for (var firstName in friends) {
console.log (firstName)

You’re missing curly brackets for the function at the bottom. Your function has the parameter, which you have, in regular parentheses, but that you need to have the actual function contained in the curly brackets:

var list=function(friends) {
for (var firstName in friends) {

Thank you for your help! It worked and I was able to get further. I got confused because the hint’s didn’t show I needed another curly brace. Thank you so much!
