5. Orbit with Style! - Help!

#1

Kinda stuck here!

I enter:

earth-orbit {

    position: absolute;
    top: 50%;
    left: 50%;
    width: 500px;
    height: 500px;
    margin-top: -250px;
    margin-left: -250px;

    border-width: 2px;
    border-style: dotted;
    border-color: white;
    border-radius: 50%;
}

Yet it returns errors, saying Oops, try again. Did you add 'position: absolute;' to your #earth-orbit style?. I'm hella confused!

#2

Not to worry, I have solved it

#3

I'm having the same issue, would you mine sharing your solution? I can't seem to get past it, even though I'm sure it's something simple

#4

Check all the ';'. That was my problem.

#5

The hardest thing for me was to get the correct amount of braces (these things: "{" and "}" )

Anyway, this code worked perfectly for me:

Please note that indentations aren't inserted, as it was too time consuming for me to manually do.

Hope this helps.

Awesome, thank you so much! I see what I was missing now

earth-orbit {

/* For Section #2 */
position: absolute;
top: 50%;
left: 50%;

width: 500px;
height: 500px;
margin-top: -250px;
margin-left: -250px;

border-width: 2px;
border-style: dotted;
border-color: white;
border-radius: 50%;

}
