5. Jumbotron: paragraphs

#1

I'm stuck in the same place. Selecting h1 in the jumbotron worked fine, but I can't get the p to work. My code looks like this:

.jumbotron p {
    color: #fff;
    font-size: 20px;
}

I keep getting this error message: "Oops, try again. Set the color of the p element inside <div class="jumbotron">..</div> to #fff"
I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong.

Your .jumbotron p { ... looks perfect so let's look for the error elsewhere.

Here it is:

.nav a {
color: #5a5a5a;
font-size: 11px;
font-weight: bold;
padding-top: 14px;
padding-bottom: 14px;
padding-left: 10px;
padding-right: 10px;
text-transform: uppercase;
}
.jumbotron {
height: 500px;
background-image: url('https://goo.gl/04j7Nn')
.jumbotron h1 {
color: #fff;
font-size: 48px;
font-weight: bold;
}
.jumbotron p {
color: #fff;
font-size: 20px;

Thanks!

You are missing two of these: }

Let me know if you need help seeing that.

Thanks! I did have the closing brace on the p; it just didn't come through the second time I pasted. I had wondered before if the first jumbotron styling needed a closing brace, but I thought that couldn't be the problem, since I would've received the error message earlier. But that does help now, since I wasn't getting the background image for the jumbotron before. I just can't figure why it didn't give me the error message until now.

It's not perfect for sure. Trust your web view to tell you something is wrong and don't hesitate to ask!

Thanks! You are so quick to reply -- I really wasn't expecting that. I even went off to make more coffee. You are awesome!
