5. Finding that Specal someone

#1

I don't know what I am doing wrong. Have been looking through several threads for the solution but I did not find any solution. It must be something wrong in the Search function but I cannot see what. Please explain where I made my mistake.

Oops, try again. It looks like your search function didn't log "Bob Jones" to the console. Did you remember to call search after you defined it?

var bob = {
    firstName: "Bob",
    lastName: "Jones",
    phoneNumber: "(650) 777-7777",
    email: "bob.jones@example.com"
};

var mary = {
    firstName: "Mary",
    lastName: "Johnson",
    phoneNumber: "(650) 888-8888",
    email: "mary.johnson@example.com"
};

var contacts = [bob, mary];

function printPerson(person) {
    console.log(person.firstName + " " + person.lastName);
}

function list() {
	var contactsLength = contacts.length;
	for (var i = 0; i < contactsLength; i++) {
		printPerson(contacts[i]);
	}
}

/*Create a search function
then call it passing "Jones"*/
function search(lastName) {
    var contactsLength = contacts.length;
    for (var i = 0; i < contactsLength; i++) {
        if (this.lastName === lastName) {
            printPerson(contacts[i]);
        }
    }
}
search("Jones");

Found the Error. Its the "this.lastName".

It should look like this:
function search(lastName) {
var contactsLength = contacts.length;
for (var i = 0; i < contactsLength; i++) {
if (contacts[i].lastName === lastName) {
printPerson(contacts[i]);
}
}
}
