4/7 "Oops, try again." How is my code wrong?

#1

Several people seem to be having this mistake and I can't find a solution. I doubled spaced before 'Who wants to race with me' because someone said that may solve my error but it didn't.

My error says "Oops, try again.
Did you remember to console.log("Suddenly, Bieber stops and says, 'Who wants to race me?'"); ?"

This is my code so far:

console.log("You are at a Justin Bieber concert, and you hear this lyric 'Lace my shoes off, start racing.'");
console.log("Suddenly, Bieber stops and says, 'Who wants to race me?'");
var userAnswer = prompt("Do you want to race Bieber on stage?");

I tried the code from your post in section-4 using a windows 8.1 IE11 environment add got a pass...
Maybe...
++++ reset of session *****************
under certain circumstances you can shoot your Browser in an
inconsistent state.

Therefor it is of an advantage to know that you have 2 reset facilities:

One is the use of the F5-key which does a refresh Browser

and

Two, select&copy your code
Then use the Reset Code button of the course-window,
then paste your code back in.

Addendum
General Notes:
Always refresh the browser after making corrections:
CTRL f5 ( if on Windows or Linux)
CMD r ( if on a MAC).

None of those steps worked :frowning: What where you saying when you talked about shooting my browser into an inconsistent state?

Hm... I can't see any mistakes, but try this one:

console.log("You are at a Justin Bieber concert, and you hear this lyric 'Lace my shoes off, start racing.'");

console.log("Suddenly, Bieber stops and says, 'Who wants to race me?'");

var userAnswer = prompt("Do you want to race Bieber on the stage?");

Could you present the full code you are using...?
What is the _Browser you are using on which Operating System ??

#6
