the instruction are

rent_car = days * 40

So your code should be like that

def rental_car_cost(days):
    rent_car = days * 40
    if days >= 7:
        rent_car -= 50
    elif days >= 3:
        rent_car -= 20
    return rent_car

it seems that rental is spelt wrong.
