Hi everyone,
My name is Harry and I’m starting to learn to code again after an on-off relationship with self-learning. I’m hoping this challenge, and this thread will help provide me with some accountability to keep going. My aim is study for 5 days a week for at least 2 hours a day (work schedule permitting) and then spend 2 days at the weekend doing some light revision.
I am currently working my way through the Full Stack Engineer Path and this is my first foray into HTML, CSS & JS having mainly learned Python basics before.
I’ll aim to update this daily with my progress & would love if anyone else wanted to share how they’re getting on in the comments below, if not that’s fine too! This is as much as a journal for selfish reasons!

Day 1
So today I started the Full Stack engineering path, I’ve completed the welcoming lesson as well as completed the first lesson in fundamental HTML. Learned the basics of what HTML, CSS and JS are and how they differ from each other. Alongside how the internet works at a fundamental level, got stuck in to some basic HTML with the lessons “bear” wiki.
Day 2
Spent my study time today finishing up the fundamentals of HTML lesson, learned about basic elements, what semantics are and how to use them as well as tables to create some basic static websites. I finished up with the NYC blog project at the end and then spent some time messing around with that to add some bits myself (like a table).
Tomorrow I shall start the fundamentals of CSS, suspect I’ll like that bit!
Day 3
Unfortunately didn’t get to do all I wanted today (yesterday at time of writing), only got to go through the introductory lesson to CSS. Work meant that I didn’t get too much time to study, plan to finish off CSS on Day 4 so I can go in to the weekend reviewing and messing around with HTML and CSS to see what I can come up with!

I am looking for an accountability partner and this feels like a good start.
My goal is to dedicate 30 mins on weekdays and 1 hour on weekends to learning.
