3. Jumbotron - the infamous Relative / 100px

#1

Hi there. I've seemingly hit a brick wall with the Jumbotron requirement. (position to relative, top to 100px).

My code:
.jumbotron .container {
position: relative
top: 100px;
}

Tried the "reset code" option, tried adjusting spacing between "container" and {, and after the position: and top:, but nothing has worked yet.

What am I missing?

Thank u :grinning: :grin: :joy: :smiley: :smile:

#3

You are missing a semicolon. You must separate all property: value sets with a semicolon.

#4

My code is this:
.jumbotron.container {
position: relative;
top: 100px;
}

And this is the error message:
Oops, try again.
Set the position of the div class="container">..
inside div class="jumbotron">../div> to relative

#5

lol! put a space between jumbotron and the period.

#6

Thanks, AR! Stare at the same thing for long enough and you're bound to miss anything, I suppose.

Very much appreciate the assistance!

i have your problem too.is your problem solved?!

#9

I am thinking about throwing my laptop, I can't see what is different about mine to the other answers given here

.jumbotron .contatiner {
position: relative;
top: 100px;
}

I don't know, maybe contatiner? :stuck_out_tongue: write it well ^^ CONTAINER

Hi, this has worked for me:

.jumbotron .container {
position: relative;
top: 100px;
}

I hope this helps!
