3. Getting there

#1

Oops, try again. It looks like plane_ride_cost does not return 183 when the city is Charlotte

 def hotel_cost(nights):
     return 140 * nights
def plane_ride_cost(city):
    if city == "Charlotte":
        return "183"
    elif city == "Tampa":
        return "220"
    elif city == "Pittsburgh":
        return "222"
    elif city == "Los Angeles":
        return "475"

#2

the amount of money should be of integer data type, not string

doing math with strings is horrible.

#3

Thanks I will keep that in mind when dealing with numbers in the future

#4

Did it solve the issue?

look at how horrible math is with strings:

print "2" + "2" # 22
print 2 + 2 # 4

#5

yeah i removed the quotation marks and it worked
