3/11 not working

#1

I don’t know what I did wrong. Every time the load symbol appears and expects to me to write something in, it just doesn’t allow me to write in anything.

print ‘Welcome to the Pig Latin Translator!’

Start coding here!

original = raw_input("Enter a word: ")

Meanwhile on the console:

Welcome to the Pig Latin Translator!
Enter a word:

Jaymaze, your code seems to be correct. If the console is not prompting refresh the page or back out and try entering your code again.

Also make sure your code is on line 4 as the lessons can be touchy.
Here is my code below if you would like to take a look.
At first my code was not running either then I refreshed the page. Also try removing the space after the colon. While it is proper to put a space, the space may be causing the issue as the program is asking you to type your code just like theirs.

Code:
print ‘Welcome to the Pig Latin Translator!’

original = raw_input(“Enter a word:”)

Yeah, thanks. I did that before and it worked just fine.

I am having this exact problem! Except refreshing hasn’t helped at all. Do you guys have any other advice? Is there a way to contact someone involved in the Codecademy part of this course?
