Please help me this is my code

// what is this "Object.prototype" anyway...?
var prototypeType = typeof(Object.prototype);
console.log(prototypeType);

// now let's examine it!
var hasOwn = Object.prototype.hasOwnProperty("hasOwnProperty");
console.log(hasOwn);

But I keep getting error asking me to set prototypeType to typeof Object.prototype.

Hi @paschaleosa

Just one tiny point here, typeof is an operator not a method, so if you remove the parens from your use of typeof you should be good to go.

 var prototypeType = typeof Object.prototype;

If it may help you can review the information on typeof Introduction to Objects II ex 6: I.D., please
