This Same Thing Happens To Me..But It Does Not Work With Browser Change.
I Have Tried It With Chrome, Vivaldi, Firefox, Safari, Internet Explorer, Maxthon MX5, Opera.
All The Above Listed Browsers.

But Still It Says That I Have Forgotten To Set My Link's Text Decoration To None.

Although I Have Set It To None.

Both The Tries Say That I Have Forgotten To Set My Link's Text Decoration To None.

Please Help

Links and text decoration
#2

You also forgot the ; at the end of color below text-decoration:none;

#3

I have added the correct syntax but it is still stuck. Please help

#4

Exactly the same problem ..
Oops, try again. Did you remember to set your link's text-decoration to none;?

#5

Same. Something's wrong with the tutorial here. Hint isn't there either.

#6

I came here to say the same thing. I am 99% that my code is correct, yet it is not working. I think it must be a mistake in the tutorial.

#7

Same issue here. Tried the suggested method as well. Nothing seems to be working.

#8

Yep, this issue is still here

#9

ANY of my tasks with text-decoration had to be submitted in I.E. after they failed in Firefox. All else works, but the text-decoration seems to be reliant on I.E.

#10

The problem is not solved
I'm performing tasks in the Google Chrome browser

#11

I too am having the same issue and feel like giving up. I haven't seen anyone from Codecademy give us a solution. This is a really frustrating situation as I am stuck at this point of the course. Please if you will give us a solution. Thank you

#12

I'm having the same issue

#13

Yeah ,extremly annoying.Still bugged..

#14

I think it should work. Can you try?

a {
text-decoration:none !important;
color : #cc0000
}

Maybe some styles of the page are having a conflict with the exercise.

#15

Looks like you are maybe missing the semicolon after the color designation.
a {
text-decoration:none;
color : #cc0000;
}

Also, I had to use IE to get through this lesson. No other browser would work!

#16

Same problem... Please do something, this is a bug, code is 100% true but im not allowed to go to the next exercise....

#17

I am having the same issues as well and my .CSS is true.

`
h1 {
font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;
color: #576D94;
}

p {
font-family: Garamond, serif;
font-size: 18px;
color: #4A4943;
}

img{
height: 100px;
width: 300px;
border: 1px solid #4682b4;
}
a {
text-decoration: none;
color: #cc0000;
}`

#18

Just try it on IE, it totally works. Then continue on Chrome.

#19

same problem. definitely a bug. And i dont have I.E. on any of my machines :frowning:

#20

UPDATE: it works in safari!
