#2

your h1 is missing a closing curly bracket (}), for more help, post your code (not in the form of a image) so i can run it

#3

Hi, I have the same trouble and after triple verification there is no missing text. I can see it is not syntax because the border is really working and reflects changes like color or pixels

I would appreciate any help, it seems I cant continue the terainning without solving this issue!!

thanks

my code is as follows:

index.html

este es el encabezado h1

aqui escribo un parrafito

stylesheet.css
h1 {
font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;
color: #576D94;
}

p {
font-size: 18px;
color: #4A4943;
font-family: Garamond, serif;
}

img {
height: 200px;
width: 300px;
border: 1px solid #4682b4;
}

if you edit/update your question, leave a reply so i get a notification. Your html code is not visible, take the following steps to make it visible:

make sure your browser zoom is set to 100% (press ctrl 0 to achieve this), the image should be 100px high, not 200px

#5

It seems to be abug working with Chrome, i switched to internet explorer and changing nothing I did not rceived anymore the errorr message about the border

#6

My code likes

h1 { font-family:Verdana,sans-serif;
color:#576D94;
}
p {
font-size:18px;
color:#4A4943;
font-family:Garamond,serif;
}

img {
height : 100px;
width : 300px;
border : 1px #4682b4;

}

and it dosen't return a boder.

I got a message like "Oops, try again. Did you remember to give your image a 1px solid #4682b4 border?"

i think the browser has a bug. I use Chrome.

#7

you forgot the solid value in your border property

#8

I'm having the same problem. I've triple, quadruple checked my code and can't find anything wrong. I've tried it in Chrome and IE. Thanks!

the correct css selector is img, src is a html attribute you use to tell <img> where the image is located, it is not used as css selector

if you edit/update your question, leave a reply so i get a notification. Your html code is not visible, take the following steps to make your code visible:

if this instructions are unclear, you can also insert 3 backticks before and after your code, like so:

```
<p>visible</p>
```

the backtick is located above the tab key on your keyboard

I'm confused. It says i don't have a border on the image, but i copied from instructions exactly. What's wrong with my code?

<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
	<head>
		<link type="text/css" rel="stylesheet" href="stylesheet               .css"></link>
		<title>Result</title>
	</head>
	<body>
	    <h1>This is a lesson</h1>
	    <p>This is a paragraph. there are many others like it but this one is mine.</p>
	</body>

border: 1px solid #4682b4;
}

always ensure your browser zoom is 100% (ctrl + 0 or cmd + 0 for mac)

Your link to stylesheet is broken, there shouldn't be any spaces between href="stylesheet and .css">

#13

Heading One

Paragraph One

<img src="http://imgs.xkcd.com/comics/supreme_court.png" />
</body>

h1 {
font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;
color: #576d94;
}

p {
font-size: 18px;
color: #4a4943;
font-family: Garamond, Serif;
}

img {
height: 100px;
width: 300px;
border: 1px solid #4682b4;
}

#14

Right, few problems:
Your html code is only partial visible.
No mention of error message, or a question you have
Not mentioning what you already have tried (did you set your browser zoom to 100%?)

#15

Same problem :frowning:
Firefox last version.
the program doesn't see the border

img{
height: 100px;
width: 300px;
border: 1px solid #4682b4;
}

#16

Can you post full html + css code? Is your browser zoom 100%? (ctrl + 0 or cmd + 0 for mac)

#17

your code is correct. you just check whether your browser page zoom is 100% or not. If not, set it 100%, then your code will be executed without error.
