The program testing program isn't accepting mary's phone number ( which it prints as "(650) 888 - 8888" ) and asks if I remembered to print it. Am I using the wrong phone number is some way?

var bob = {
    firstName: "Bob",
    lastName: "Jones",
    phoneNumber: "(650) 777-7777",
    email: "bob.jones@example.com"
}

var mary = {
    firstName: "Mary",
    lastName: "Johnson",
    phoneNumber: "(650) 888 - 8888",
    email: "mary.johnson@example.com"
}

var contacts = [bob, mary]

console.log =(contacts[1].phoneNumber)

There is an equal sign in your console.log statement.

I have deleted it and it still isn't accepting the number. It prints the number fine.

Try refreshing the browser. It could be a bug. Other people have had similar issues with this exercise.
