so, im kind of new to this stuff
// Here is an array of multiples of 8. But is it correct?
var multiplesOfEight = [8,16,24,32,40,58];

// Test to see if a number from the array is NOT a true
// multiple of eight. Real multiples will return false.
var answer = multiplesOfEight[X] % 8 !== 0;

In the below code if you see 58 is not a multiple of 8.

var multiplesOfEight = [8, 16, 24, 32, 40, 58];

So to satisfy the below condition

var answer = multiplesOfEight[X] % 8 !== 0;

you have to use use the index of 58 which is 5.
That gives you

var answer = multiplesOfEight[X] % 8 !== 0;

multiplesOfEight[5] = 58;
var answer = 58 % 8 (not equal to) !== 0;
58 % 8 = 2 which is not equal to 0

This is what I understood. Thanks.
