2/10 CSS "Link to a Stylesheet" isn't working

#1

I have entered the right set of code but it doesn't go through correctly, telling me that something is wrong with my strings of code.

Replace this line with your code.
1
<!doctype html>
2
<html>
3
<head>
4
  <title>Sprout</title>
5
  <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="main.css"/>
6
</head>
7
<body>
8
  <h1>Mystwood Publishers Ltd.</h1>
9
  <div class="hero">
10
    <h2>Sprout.</h2>
11
    <p>A book by George Bedford Daniel.</p>
12
    <a href="#">Read now.</a>
13
  </div>
14
  <p id = "footer">&copy; Mystwood Publishers Limited</p>
15
</body>
16
</html>

Your code looks fine to me, did you try refreshing the page or using another browser ?

#3

Yes, I have tried performing other methods and they all come to the same conclusion.

click on get help > reset the lesson and try again

Well that was incredibly weird. All I did was refresh it once more like any human would and it worked perfectly fine again.

Thanks!
