So I got stuck. I am pretty sure my syntax is right, but everytime I click save & submit code it says SyntaxError : Expected '('.
Here is the code.
("Jon".length * 2 / (2+1) === 2)
if{
console.log("The answer makes sense!");
}
else{
console.log("Error Error Error");
}

#2

ok that must be horrible

#3

So what can I do?......

#4

Now it says that log isn't defined and that I need to put quotes around it.
I do that and it still says that I need to put quotes around it and the expected '(' error is still there.
Can anybody help me?

#5

Try and put the If before the ("Jon".length * 2 / (2+1) === 2)
I'm pretty sure thats where you went wrong. Otherwise I'm clueless.
Let me know if that helped you any.

#6

Thank you so much.It worked!You really helped me.

#7

No Problem! Happy Coding!

#8

("Jon".length * 2 / (2+1) === 2)
if{
console.log("The answer makes sense!");
}
else{
console.log("Error Error Error");
}
Help

#9

Wouldn't it be better to make your own code rather than copying someone else's?

move the if from where it is now to where you think it should be. You cant have an empty if statement.

#10

A post was split to a new topic: 19. I'm not seeing where im going wrong
