Let's talk about this other problem first:

That shortcut property has several default values. When you place it where you have you are wiping out the values of several of the previous background* properties that you have there.

Put your shortcut property BEFORE all of your other background* properties and then this won't happen.

Now, onto the problem with your input property. You are missing a ". Everything after that missing " is being ignored.

Can you spot that now?


I hadn't realised the problem with the background, but I just fixed it. Thank you for pointing that out!

I don't understand where the missing " would be placed though, could you explain?



It is in your background: property, the width value.

Really, you should just take the height and width out of there because you want the image to expand to fill the space which you have done with this:

background-size: cover;


So how would it look if we add "? Will it look like :{ "border": "0"}? Help please?
