# 16 if(condition)

#1

I'm typing in my if statement and the point of the lesson is to get the else print out... What is the problem with my code?

if( 10 < 5 )

{
console.log("true");
}
else
{
console.log("falso");
}

#2

nothing is? Could you provide more information? What does the error message say?

#3

falso

change that to "false"

#4

It says:
Oops, try again. It looks like your if/else statement didn't log "The condition is false" to the console.

#5

Wouldn't it not matter how it's written if that's the value in the quotations?

For instance I just did that to play around and see how code in Spanish would look in this particular case.

Let me know if I'm mistaken.

I tried the change to "false" and I still get the same error message.

#6

Your console log is wrong. It isn't just false, the string has to be "The condition is false"
