12/19 can't figure out plz past ur code so i can see how u did it

#1

phrase = "A bird in the hand..."

Add your for loop

for char in phrase:
if char == "A" or char == "a":
print "X"
else:
print char

Don't delete this print statement!

print

#2

what is your question or problem?

#4

Your code prints everything out onto it's own line. You need to add a comma after the character you are printing to put it into the desired format:

for char in phrase:
if char == "A" or char == "a":
print "X",
else:
print char,

#5

Keep getting "Oops, try again. Did you replace all of the "A"s and "a"s with "X"s? It looks like you printed "" instead of "X b i r d i n t h e h X n d . . .". "

Not sure why I'm getting this error when the console is printing out correctly ??

phrase = "A bird in the hand..."

for char in phrase:
if char == "A" or char == "a":
print "X",
else:
print char,

#6

phrase = "A bird in the hand..."

for char in phrase:
if char == "A" or char == "a":
print "X",
else:
print char,

print

I got it right with this one. same code may be indentation.
