my code puts ["1", "2", "3", "4", "5", "6", "7", "8", "9", "10"]
but it says Oops, try again. It looks like your strings_array doesn't include "1", but it should.

my code

        numbers_array = [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10]

        strings_array = []
        nums = numbers_array.map(&:to_s)

strings_array = []

This is obviously filling strings_array with nothing. Do you agree? Hence the error you're getting.

That error mean this ["1".........10]

Try this, his worked for me.
strings_array = numbers_array.map(&:to_s)

I might be wrong, but i don't think the instruction asked for num variable or to to array, but i understand from it is that is to create a copy of the array that already exist and turn that into string.
