11. Get your self in

Hi, im having a problem with this lesson, I am 99% sure my code is good but it
doesnt work when i move my mouse into the area, my code is the following

$(document).ready(function() {
    $('div').mouseenter(function() {

Your code is perfect. There seems to be a bug with that page.

I have the same problem, I think it's a bug.

ok, so it's a bug. But how can we go forward?

this is the message: Oops, try again. It looks like you didn't set your div's opacity to 1. Check the example to in the instructions if you need help!

I'm pretty sure you can't go forward :pensive: .

Thank you, at least I know it now!

there is also this message: Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected identifier

Wait this code now works for me in FireFox:

$(document).ready(function() {
        $("div").fadeTo("fast", 1);

What's your code and browser you're using?

I am in Chrome
this is my code:
$(document).ready(function() {
$('div').mouseenter(function() {
$('div').fadeTo('fast', 1);

Ah yes, Chrome is a really bad browser for codecademy right now. Try A different one such as

Your code works for me, by the way.

I tried Firefox and Explorer, same error :frowning:

Newest version of FireFox?

I had the very old version, I just installed the newest 52.0.2 (32-bit), but still the same error.

Strange, very strange.

I know, it happens :slight_smile:

What is weird is that usually you can select to see the right code and then you can go forward, but in this lesson you cannot even do that. (this was available in Learn JavaScript and Make a Website)

That's because that is the old interface :slight_smile:

Same here. I'm using chrome and it gives me the same error EVERY SINGLE TIME!!!

The Code works, you just have to move your mouse to the actual blue click me box. wait 2 seconds and you're good
