11.Functions Recap says its good, but the console is blank

#1

Here's my code:
var nameString = function(name) {
return("Hi, I am" + " " + name);

};
nameString("Derek");
console.log(name);

#2

Nothing here would print to the console, as return doesn't, and your log has an undefined variable.

#3

So, what do I need to pass into the console.log to make it print out "Hi, I am Derek"?

#4

Log the function call. Example:

console.log(sayHello("Cade"));

#5

Thank you very much. It helped.
