[11/19] Danger, Will Robinson problem


Hey guys, i`ve got problem with 11/19. The code is:

board = []

for x in range(0, 5):
board.append(["O"] * 5)

def print_board(board):
for row in board:
print " ".join(row)


def random_row(board):
return randint(0, len(board) - 1)

def random_col(board):
return randint(0, len(board[0]) - 1)

ship_row = random_row(board)
ship_col = random_col(board)
guess_row = int(raw_input("Guess Row:"))
guess_col = int(raw_input("Guess Col:"))

print ship_row
print ship_col

Write your code below!

if guess_row == ship_row and guess_col == ship_col:
print "Congratulations! You sank my battleship!"
print "You missed my battleship!"
guess_row = "X"
guess_col = "X"
print print_board(board)

and the problem is(after typing guess row and guess column, example 2,3:
Oops, try again. Make sure to enter a col and row that is on the board!
But 2 and 3 are in row! So what`s the problem? Also tried to change variable board to "X", still nothing. Do you have a solution?


we have a variable (board) which is a list, which represent our board

we need to our board. You just update the variable containing the user guesses


I could save so much time if I'd just read the example portion of the instructions!
