I tried to use `, Alt + 0145, Alt + 0146, but it didn’t work!
Please help me!

Can you give us the output you get from

echo $TERM
echo $LANG

and maybe mention the Operating System you are using
and which Browser & its version....

AND
whathappens when you type
ALT 39
