1. Introduction

#1

It keeps saying there is something wrong with my syntax.
Here is my code:
var mySpeed =(65);

if(mySpeed > 80){
console.log("Slow Down!");
}

else
{
console.log("Drive Safe.");

What am i doing wrong?

#2

Almost nothing :wink: You're just missing an } at the end of your else statement. So after: console.log("Drive Safe."); just add an }.

#3

I can't believe I missed that lol. But it still keeps saying there is something wrong with my syntax. Really not sure whats going on here.

#4

remove your period "." after drive safe.
and the "!" after slow down.
and the () from the (65)

#5

var speed = 65;

// Complete a condicao nos ()s na linha 4
if (speed > 80) {
// Use console.log() para exibir "Reduza a velocidade"
console.log("Reduza a velocidade");
}
else {
// Use console.log() para exibir "Dirija com seguranca"
console.log("Dirija com seguranca");

}

whats wrong with mine? its says im not showing right string.

#6

Exercise is picky about the correct string.

Copy and paste the string from the instructions if needed.
